2046年 夏

アメリカに住んでいるサンディは, 椅子に座って家の窓から庭を見ていました。ケリーが死んで以来、庭のツバキは二度と咲きません。

サンディは自伝小説を書くことにしました。ツバキにさえこの言いようのない悲しみは伝わるのだから、ましてや人間にはなおさら伝わるだろう。

その小説は、サンディが唯一愛するケリーへ捧げた本でした。サンディは新刊本発表会で公に(おおやけに)そのことを認めてしまいました。

傍でずっと待っていた七歳の女の子が、サンディの手を握って、「おじさん、もう行くの？」と言いました。
サンディは「そうだよ。リリー、さあいこう。」と答えました。

The Summer of 2046

Sandy was sitting at home, looking toward the yard through the French window in the United States. After Kelly was gone, the flowers of camellia have never bloomed again.
Sandy made up his mind to write an autobiographical novel, because he felt that if camellia knows how sad it was, let alone human beings?

On the new book presentation event, Sandy openly admitted that he only loved one man in his life, and that was Kelly.

Waiting beside Sandy, there was a seven-year-old girl holding Sandy's hand and said: "Uncle Sandy, can we go now?"

"Let's go, Lily." replied Sandy.

Sandy坐在美國家中落地窗前往院子看。那棵山茶花自從Kelly去世後, 就再也沒開過花了。
Sandy決定寫一本自傳式小說, 因為連山茶花都懂得哀傷, 更何況是人呢?

新書發表會上, Sandy大方承認他這輩子只愛Kelly一人。

這時, 身邊一個七歲的小女生牽著Sandy的手說：
" Uncle Sandy, can we go now?" ( Sandy叔叔, 我們可以走了嗎? )
Sandy說:" Let's go, Lily." ( Lily, 我們走吧~ )
