A New Moon
I slice the night sky into fragments,
Weaving them into a velvet gown,
Studded with a million ancient stars.
You are my new moon brooch,
Nestled against my heart.
The night grows so dark.
Which path do you wander?
Will you remember your way home?
Will you miss the one who waits?
Will you share the secrets you hold?

Will you remember the way home?
