実は、リリーはサンディとケリーがお互いのことを好きであることを知っていたが、そんなことを認めたくありませんでした。
驚いたことに、誰もがリリーのボーイフレンドはケリーだと思っていました。
リリーはケリーに近づく十分な理由がありました。それは、ケリーの成績が素晴らしかったからです。一方で、彼女はわざとサンディを喜ばせたいと思っていました。なぜなら、彼女は自分がケリーに近づいたら、サンディが嫉妬するかどうかを知りたかったためです。
結果、サンディは全く嫉妬しませんでした。そして、ケリーはサンディのために事をややこしくさせないよう故意にリリーと仲良くなりました。しかし、ケリーは「私たちはハンターと獅子のようだが、近くにその様子を注意深く伺っている虎が常にいる」と述べました。
やがて、リリーはこれ以上我慢できなくなりました。彼女は去ることを決めました。しかし、サンディとケリーは彼女を尋ねて、一緒に遊びにいこうとしました。
三人の幼馴染が一緒にする大好きな遊びは、サンディがリリーの髪を編んで、様々なスタイルにすることでした。リリーはそれを楽しんで、そしてケリーは眠ったふりをして、サンディの肩にもたれかかりました。
それから、三人の幼馴染はみな、違う中学校に行きました。彼らはもう、前のように一緒に遊ぶ機会がありませんでした。
ある日の早朝、公園で二人の男の子が一緒に心地良さそうに散歩していました。近づいてみると、彼らはケリーとサンディの二人でした。私は目を疑いました。

Lily actually knew well in mind that Sandy and Kelly really liked each other, but she did not want to admit such a thing.
Surprisingly, everyone assumed Lily's boyfriend was Kelly.
Kelly’s homework was always terrific, so Lily had enough reasons to get close to Kelly. On one hand, she wanted to please Sandy deliberately. On the other hand, she would like to know whether Sandy felt jealous if she showed her affection to Kelly.
As a result, Sandy was not jealous at all. And then Kelly didn't want to make things difficult for Sandy, so he tried to make good friends with Lily. However, Kelly once said, "It's like a hunter and a lion, but there is always a tiger spying nearby.”
At last, Lily could not stand it any more, and she chose to withdraw. At that time, Sandy and Kelly went back to her and asked her to stay and played together.
There was one scene in which the three childhood friends played with one another. That was when Sandy was braiding Lily's hair into a variety of styles, Lily was comfortable to enjoy it and then Kelly lay on Sandy's shoulder pretending to sleep.
After they all went to different junior high schools, they could not have the chance to play together any more just like before.
One day, early in the morning, I happened to see two teenagers strolling in the park. As I took a closer look, they were Kelly and Sandy, weren't they?

因為Kelly功課非常的好, 所以Lily一遇到不會的功課一定會去問Kelly。一方面想要討好Sandy故意和Kelly走近, 另一方面, 也想知道這樣做, Sandy會不會吃醋。
結果, Sandy沒有吃醋, Kelly也為了不要讓Sandy為難, 特意和Lily和好。但是Kelly說, 這就像是一個獵人和一頭獅子, 但是, 旁邊總是有一頭老虎, 虎視眈眈。
後來, Lily受不了了, 想要退出。但是, Sandy和Kelly又去把她叫回來一起玩。
