The following is my translation from the prose of 林達陽 (Lín Dáyáng)'s《慢情書》(The Laid-back Love Letter).
" S,the classrooms during holidays were empty without anyone or any sound but the wind and the sunlight. The atmosphere on campus was so normal that I almost thought I could have somehow encountered you, if I had come a little earlier or later. Did I overlook something? Long ago, I was seriously with another girl, I must confess this. At that time, I was still a student who would rectify the world for the sake of love and had written several beautiful phrases on the whiteboard, too. Nevertheless, all have been erased. I don't care what time has ever taught me since the meaning of it still persist; even if my seat has long been taken. As for you, you are my long, long holidays."
