昨日、私の小ガエルは私に会いに来て、なぜ池が消えたのかと私に問いました。
「3ヶ月間、雨が降ってたので、池は洪水に流されちゃったんだ。」
「なんでこんなに大きな池が流されてしまったの？」彼は憤懣やるかたなく言いました。
「全部私がしましたよ。新しい水源と新しい池が必要だったので、池から水を抜きました。」と私は言いました。
「じゃあ、いつまた新しい池ができるの？」
「おそらく2、3年後。」と私は答えました。

It's never too late to succeed.

Yesterday, my little frog came to see me asking that why our pond disappeared.
"Since it has been raining for three months, it was swept away in a flood." I said.
"How can such a large pond be washed away so soon?" he asked resenfully.
”I did it. I let the water be flowed because I need a new source of water and a brand new pond.”
"Well, so when will the new pond be constructed?"
"After two or three years, perhaps." I replied.

昨天我的小青蛙來看我, 問我為什麼池塘不見了?
「因為下了三個月的雨, 所以池塘被大水沖走了。」
小青蛙忿忿不平地說：「 這麼大的池塘怎麼可能被沖走?」
「是我把池塘的水放掉的, 因為我需要新的水源, 新的池塘。」
「那, 什麼時候才能再看到新的池塘呢?」
「兩三年後吧。」我說。
