夏日香氣

シンデレラはわざと宴会でガラスの靴を落としました。「王子様はきっと私を追ってくるはず」と彼女は思いこんでいましたが、王子様はシンデレラの落とした靴に気づかず、追ってもきませんでした。シンデレラはどうしてそうなったのかを知りたくて、会場に戻りました。

会場には、数千もの靴があったのだと彼女はすぐ分かりました。「こんなにたくさんの靴が落ちていては、王子様が気づかなかったのももっともだ」と、シンデレラは思いました。

カボチャの馬車も長い間にシンデレラを待っていたので、とうとう壊れてしまい、ゴミのトラックになっていました。シンデレラはかなり落ち込んで帰ってきて、たくさんの家事をしました。もしかしたら、灰の中にお金などを見つけられたかもしれませんでした。その時は、また別の物語なのでしょう。

Glass Slippers

Cinderella dropped off one of her glass slippers deliberately in the banquet hall. She thought that the prince would chase after her, but he didn't. He wasn't even aware of it. Cinderella waited and waited. Finally, she thought that she had better return to the venue to find out the fact herself.

As she arrived there, she realized that there were thousands of glass slippers for being claimed. "No wonder the prince doesn't care whose shoes they were." meditated Cinderella.

As for the gold pumpkin carriage, it was rotten and turned into a garbage truck due to the long-time waiting. Cinderella felt depressed, went back home and continued doing menial chores in cinders. Perhaps she would find gold in the ash, which would be anther story then.

金縷鞋

灰姑娘故意把一隻金縷鞋遺忘在宴會裡, 她以為王子會循線找來, 但是, 王子根本沒發現這隻鞋。然後, 灰姑娘等了又等, 只好自己再回到會場看個明白。

原來宴會裡有成千上百的落單的鞋子擺在那裡。灰姑娘想, 「這麼多的鞋子, 難怪王子根本不在乎誰掉了鞋。」

灰姑娘的南瓜車因為等太久, 南瓜車已經變成垃圾車。灰姑娘灰頭苦臉的只好回家繼續扒灰, 也許灰裡會發現誰掉的黃金, 這又是另一個故事了。
